Summary/Abstract: The explosive topic of Jan Neruda and anti-Semitism, which affects the political, cultural, social and literary history of the Bohemian Lands of the latter half of the nineteenth century, is not exhausted merely by analysing and contextualizing the notorious work “Pro strach židovský” [“For Fear of the Jews”]. It is also very informative to explore the personal contacts and relations of several key figures – Neruda’s contemporaries – with whom Neruda ‘met and struggled’.
