Evolution of child protection in Romania. A national study: short presentation

Summary/Abstract: This article examines the practices related to prevention of child separation from his family, abuse, neglecting and child exploitation at community level and the communication state between local community and county services in child protection department. Therewith, the study intends to assess the efficiency of prevention services in child welfare. Our presentation focuses on the evolution of child protection system in Romania, between 2005-2007 and analyses the new entries of children in child protection services.
