Summary/Abstract: The section Dialogue presents a conversation between the Bosnian-Herzegovinian literary critic Enver Kazaz and Hanifa Kapidžić-Osmanagić, university professor and one of the most important figures in the intellectual scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her distinctive views of the world and literature make this an exceptionally interesting dialogue. The conclusion that her entire work is based upon the interaction of cultures remains confirmed in her thought on the necessity of a cosmopolitan approach, expressed in the idea that: …In Bosnia, the positions of leading experts on literature should not be granted to people whose primary orientation is national, who are inclined to nationalism. Such a situation betrays Bosnia and its national complexity. By their knowledge and by their determination, these people should have Bosnian-Herzegovinian, South Slavic, European, international affiliations.
