Summary/Abstract: The civil society in Serbia is fighting against any discrimination on ethnic, religious, national or any other grounds, the use of hate language and other forms of abusing the freedom of speech in a society. Its activities are aimed at accepting differences and promoting democratic values as elements of critical importance in the fight for the respect of human rights and the establishment of the rule oflaw. Conscious of outdated textbooks, obsolete work methods, and most importantly, of a potential for abuse of law faculties in Serbia as propaganda instruments for promoting the views of a number of professors from these institutions, the author of this paper takes it upon herself to prevent this by pointing out the necessity to reform these institutions of higher education.
