Conversational Routines in German

Summary/Abstract: Conversational routines are standardized expressions used in different situations of everyday spoken communication. For learning a foreign language it is very important master such routines and expressions, which are adequate and expected in a certain type of situation. The conversational routines are described concerning their semantics and syntax and their communicative function. At the end the Czech and German conversational routines are compared concerning their grammar structure and lexical components.
