Summary/Abstract: The author observes that the same type of narrative can be found in various types of films. For instance, narration is used in fictional cinema of Branko Bauer and Bertrand Tavernier, as well as in documentaries by Hrvoje Hribar and Pare Lorentz. Furthermore, even fictional parodies of documentary films such as Woody Allen's "Zelig" and Rob Reiner's "This is Spinal Tap" use a distinctevly non- fictional type of narration. Theorist Carl Plantinga therefore relies on the criterion of fictionality in distinguishing main types of films, grounding the quality of fictionality in the category of the "projected world", quite compatible with the influential theoretical concept of "possible worlds".
