Summary/Abstract: Unlike other so-called critics or literary historians, Dan Mănucă is really preoccupied by the text analysis and its synthesis using several perspectives. Among them we can mention the link to the historical and the political context, the geopolitics, in a large sense of the word. One of his latest books, Literature and ideology, is centered on the sensitive relation between these two factors (mentioned in the title) that have a large influence on Romanian literature in general.
