History and historians of Poland in the scientific heritage of Witold Novodvorsky

Summary/Abstract: The article reveals the little-known pages of the life and work of Russian scientist XIX - early XX centuries Witold Novodvorsky, his personal and scientific contacts with representatives of the Polish science. The author defines his role in the development of Slavic and research of historical Polish studies. Particular attention was given to the main scientific works of Novodvorsky, which keep its originality and novelty and has not lost value for the science.
