Particularities in the Situation of Women in the Republic of Moldova. Realities and Tendencies

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses the position of the women from the Republic of Moldova on the labor market, their participation in the political life and their situation in the private area of the family. There are also described the new tendencies of the society evolution, related to the phenomenon of the external migration of women. For the elucidation of the problem there have been shown the changes of the behaviors, both feminine and masculine, what moral and ethical values dominate today the Moldovan society and what stereotypes guide the consciences. Feminine migration leads to the material amelioration of the families but also to the amplification of the negative effects, of psychological and moral order to the situation of the children. The basis of work for the article presents the documentation and Moldovan laws, informative statistic materials, opinion barometers and personal reflections.
