Summary/Abstract: Under the circumstances created by the new technology era, a true image of the purchase power and subsequently of the nation’s welfare can be offered by the evolution of the minimum real wage influenced by the urge to keep the pace with the innovation rythm in every industrial branch. Our analysis took into account our country’s specific elements with a cautionary interpretation in explaining the market and industrial branches characteristics.
