Summary/Abstract: Straipsnyje analizuojamas tautinio tapatumo išsaugojimas Lietuvoje kaip Europos tapatumo išsaugojimo dalis. Nors Europa apibrėžiama kaip vertybių bendrija, tačiau taikydama moralinį reliatyvizmą, nuolaidžiaudama antivakarietiškoms nuostatoms, eliminuodama krikščioniškosios kultūros paveldą iš viešojo gyvenimo, Europa praranda savo buvusią tapatybę ir vertybių pojūtį bei atsiduria moralinėje kryžkelėje. Multikultūralizmo legitimacija ir depolitizuota visuomenė, sekuliarios netolerancijos sureikšminimas silpnina Europos kultūros atsparumą prieš plataus masto imigraciją iš islamo pasaulio. The article analyses the retention of the national identity in Lithuania in the context of the problem of preserving European identity. Though Europe is defined as a community of values, Europe loses its previous identity and the sense of values and finds itself at the crossroad of morality by applying moral relativism, eliminating the heritage of Christian culture from the public sphere, with the connivance of anti-western attitudes. The legitimacy of multiculturalism and depoliticized society, giving prominence to the secular intolerance in Europe weaken the resistance of the European culture to wide-scale immigration from the Islamic world.
