The importance of business environment for small and medium-sized enterprises in 2007-2012

Summary/Abstract: The economic crisis has worsened the conditions of establishment of enterprises, especially the smaller ones. The governments of most countries have intensified efforts to improve these conditions, including the help of institutions that support the creation and development of enterprises. Among them there are dynamically developing business incubators, which are a kind of protection against the consequences of the global crisis. The aim of the study is to identify and assess the activities of business environment for SMEs during the economic slowdown in Poland.
