Modern challenges in the accountingof companies in sustainable development economy

Summary/Abstract: Today, companies operate in the economy of sustainable development. Therefore, solutions are needed to address the information needs of companies. Accounting as an information system should be able to measure and present information while taking into account environmental, economic and social activities of companies. Relationships that exist within the dimensions of ecological systems, economic and social development are very complex and strongly interacting, because the accounting system is facing new challenges in order to meet the information needs of modern companies in the economy of sustainable development. The aim of the study is to identify the directions of development of accounting in the three dimensions of sustainable development.
