The diversity of methods for establishing feesfor wastes and waste segregation ruleson the example of voivodeship cities as oneof the waste management

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyse the methods for establishing fees for the wastes on the example of voivodeship cities. It also draws attention to different rules of waste segregation in various cities, which is one of the fundamental flaws of the system. This means that changing the place of residence requires learning new rules for waste segregation. Based on the survey it must also be noted that there is a large variety in setting the charges. There are significant differences in the fees for segregated and non-segregated wastes varying from 25% to 100%, where unfortunately too low fee does not stimulate waste segregation.
