External Evaluation at the University of Maribor

Summary/Abstract: Every year, Members of the Maribor University perform self-evaluations and external evaluations and prepare evaluation reports. The procedure of external evaluation and self-evaluation of the university and its members is defined by the Rulebook for Self-evaluation and External Evaluation of Universities and Their Members. The university’s Quality Assessment Commission is a permanent commission of the university Senate. The Commission and the Senate discuss self-evaluation and external evaluation reports (which contain action plans on how to remove identified shortcomings, reinforce positive areas, as well as proposals of necessary measures to be taken). We have presented the goals, tasks and results of the Commission, as well as plans for the 2008/2009 academic year. We have also compiled the most frequent findings from the self-evaluation external reports on university members.
