Summary/Abstract: As it is one of the most controversial sub-dialect of the Romanian language, the Moldavian sub-dialect becomes a linguistic document while the literary language has its roots into the Wallachian sub-dialect. Phonetically speaking, the evolution of the affricate consonants may point out this idea. An analysis of the most authorized opinions in this field is believed to re-contextualize some important phonological steps in the evolution of this sub-dialect.
