Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic on an evaluation under the so-called Lisbon Treaty with the constitutional order of the Czech Republic. This is the first finding regarding preventive review of international treaties and answers several key questions related to the sovereignty of the Czech Republic, as the powers of the European Union, the flexibility clause, the negotiation of international treaties by the European Union and the values on which the European Union is founded, and the Charter of Basic Rights of the European Union included.
