Czech Defence League in the Context of Counter-Jihad

Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the czech group called Czech Defence League. The group is analyzed in the light of extremism theory and is compared with the broader couter-jihad movement. While we can see some local specifics of this group determined by different situation concerning the muslim population in the Czech Republic, Czech Defence League is in most respects typical counter-jihad group. Also, an approach of Czech Ministry of the Interior towards the CZDL is examined as an example of czech militant democracy.
