Summary/Abstract: Since customer orientation, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty characterize the today's marketing world, the present paper offers a practical analysis of how hitting the right tone in business communication can be a key to success. In the written business communication, in business correspondence, the "how" is as important as the "what", and business letter writing can develop to a professional skill. This happens when the text author balances the professional interest (economic cooperation, negotiation, conflict/solving) with the letter's stylistic and argumentative specificity.
