AN ASSESMENT ON THE CONTENT TRAITS IN SELİ M İ LERİ ’S 'BODRUM DÖRTLEMESİ ’

Summary/Abstract: Selim İ leri, who published Cumartesi Yalnızlığ ı in 1968 is firstly known as a story writer in Turkish literature. Selim İ leri doing nothing else than writing during his literature life did every kind of literature work and became famous by his novel writings in Turkish literature. Selim İ leri, who is very productive in novels published twenty-one novels first of which is Destan Gönüller in 1973 and last of which is Daha Dün in 2008. Bodrum Dörtlemesi which is composed of four books published between 1976-1980. Method and concept of author’s novels being different from classical concept and the way of authors representing subject had been discussed by literature community of that period.
