Summary/Abstract: The publication is dedicated to the hundreedth anniversary of Corresponding Member, Professor Aleksandar Burmov. It contains memoirs of his assistants, post-graduate students, graduates, university students and friends, shared at a meeting of historians and literary people from several generations and in front of today.s students in history. In a vivid and free-hearted style Professor Petar Petrov, Professor Ognyana Mashdrakova, Academician Konstantin Kosev, Professor Philip Panayotov, Professor Dimitar Ovcharov, Academician Vasil Gyuzelev and Petar Cholov described Alexandar Burmov as a scholar, teacher, socially active person and a man with incredible sense of humour, who apart from all else was the founder of journal Istoricheski Pregled (Historical Review).
