Lucim is alive and kicking!!!

Summary/Abstract: The story of “Akcja Lucim” activities which initiated “Działania Lucimskie”. To dissociate themselves from the rhetorics of power and the aesthetic that was de rigueur in Polish art of the ‘70ties young artists were looking for an alternative place for their artistic activities. A small village located near Tuchola Forest became the space where they were able to react to tensions between the presence of various elements of broadly defined folk culture and mass culture.
