Summary/Abstract: The theme of my paper will be religious tolerance and confessional unity in Canada as a model for the Balkan region. This paper will cover the current attempts at inter-faith dialogue, including examples from specifically Christian sources. Various groups, ranging from the Orthodox church to Lutheranism, shall be compared and contrasted in order to ascertain what responses have been given to the problem of confessional intolerance. Furthermore, such a system will then be applied to the Balkan region and evaluated as a mostly worthwile venture.
