Summary/Abstract: The article continues the study of the representations about a homeless in the Russian language picture of the world. The article aims to clarify the characteristics of homelessness and to find out the attitude to this phenomenon averaged media of modern Russian language. The study was made on the basis of materials of the National corpus of the Russian language. In work it is noted that in the picture of the world average native speakers homeless is a person who has no home, and the man who has a house, but experiencing spiritual discomfort in the environment in which it is located, people who have not found their place in life or lonely. As a rule, the second type of homelessness often perceived positively and often ennobled. The material homelessness positively perceived only in the situation where the homeless regret all other cases cause negative evaluation. Ambiguously interpreted and страннический culture: the pole of assessment varies from condemnation tramp-the wanderer, beggars to empower the Wanderers features of Holiness.
