Breastfeeding and newborn care - study of changes on the example of two generations of mothers

Summary/Abstract: The author seeks to illustrate the situation regarding breastfeeding and newborn care from the perspective of two generations of mothers in two selected periods. She monitors the ethnological aspects of changes in this field and its perception in the lives of two generations of mothers. She also studies the status of breastfeeding in society and its promotion, or alternatively its relegation to the background in favour of formula feeding. Interpreting the results, she attempts to answer the questions why such a situation existed, what factors contributed to it, and how mothers themselves interpreted and analyzed the reasons for this situation.
