Summary/Abstract: The oldest foundation of the Order of St. Augustine in Moravia was a monastery, later called Corona sanctae Mariae, founded as the only Augustinian monastery in Moravia in the 13th century nearby Krasíkov in northern Moravia (the Svitavy district). To state the day of the foundation, two important charters from 1267 and 1270 have decisive importance. The charter of Boreš of Riesenburk, issued in 1267 for Augustinians, cannot be considered as the foundation charter but as the donation charter. Also the possibility that the monastery was founded already before 1266 cannot be either for closed or confirmed now. It is assumed that the monastery was founded ante quem 1270 and post quem 1267.
