Remarks on the Relation between Political Philosophy and Politics

Summary/Abstract: This paper explores issues which are related to the question for the relevance of political philosophy for politics. Although it contains arguments establishing that high expectations in the practical relevance of normative political theory are bound to remain unsatisfied, attempts are made to show that there is a sense of „relevant“ in which political philosophy can be relevant for politics.
