Summary/Abstract: The comparative study of the Albanian and Bulgarian continually attracts the attention of the linguists-balkanologists. The determination of the character and essence of the connections between these two languages with a common destiny in their history falls under the group of the main tasks of the Balkan linguistics. A particular role in this field has also the comparison of the phraseological systems of the Albanian and Bulgarian. It gives many possibilities to discover the common features and the national peculiarities of each language not only theoretically, but even in connection with the translation practice and the learning of the mother tongue and foreign language. In the special balkanological literature there are some works and articles treating concrete questions at the phareseological level. However, the phraseology is not still made objetct of a comprehensive analysis in the framework of balkanology. At the same time it should be said that the works about the analogies in general hold to a broader concept for the phraseology in comparison with the notion "linguistic phraseology" which is now accepted in linguistics.
