Summary/Abstract: The article presents some epistemological and methodological issues about “organizational flexibility”. It has been shown that in this field of research there is conceptual chaos and there is disagreement among researchers concerning the definition of “flexibility”, which involves a lot of problems in a clear explanation of what “organizational flexibility” is and what it is not. It also shows that the term “flexibility” does not have a “real” nature which makes the measurement of these characteristics is determined by numerous difficulties of a methodological nature, consisting mainly in the need to reduce “flexibility” to observation terms which not fully reflect the nature of the “organizational flexibility” .
