Summary/Abstract: The Princes Czartoryski Museum in Cracow possesses an interesting collection of ancient artifacts including Greek and Roman stone sculptures, Greek vases, terracottas and small bronzes, jewelry, coins and objects of Egyptian art. Among them are also several Latin and Greek inscriptions. One such inscription, the epitaph of one Achilles, son of Dionysios, and most probably of north Pontic origin, perhaps from Olbia, is the subject of my presentation here.
