CAN WE AND DO WE WANT TO PRESERVE OUR TRADITION?

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author discusses the issue of “survival” and the numerous threats that lay before Islamic tradition in the form in which it was accepted and preserved by the Balkan Muslims. Tradition that is talked about in here, encompasses all that shariah law, related to a whole life of a person or a community of Muslims consist of, apart from those elements of shariah law that require a state power in order to be implied, considering the civil states wherein the Balkan Muslims live.
