Summary/Abstract: Taking into consideration that the Dayton Agreement has not solved, over the long term, the issue of secure future of Bosnia and its inhabitants, it is necessary to develop a long term strategy to ensure the existence and security of Bosnia and its population. It is a series of long-term process having the goal - the sovereignty of all citizens who are well-intentioned towards the state on its whole territory, the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal should be a secular state with guaranteed rights for all individuals regardless of their religious, national, and racial or any other origin but which will be based on clear historical foundations of Bosnianhood drawing the roots from Medieval Bosnia. There is no doubt that the identity of the Bosnian (or, since ancient times - the Bosniak) people interwoven elements of many religions in particular the Bosnian Church, Judaism, Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Islam. This country must be called Bosnia (but not B&H) and must provide long-term state borders towards neighbours. It does not threaten the rights of the individual and is based on the democratic achievements of the Convention on Human Rights as well as the concept of the nation-state which is present in today’s Europe. This is my vision of Bosnia, and it will be realized when the Bosnian people finished establishing a collective national consciousness, and when they stopped expect of someone else to solve their problems.
