Summary/Abstract: Multilateral platforms (companies operating in so called multilateral markets) serve two disjointed, however, complementary groups of clients. In order to function properly, a multilateral platforms ought to maintain appropriate proportions between interdependent groups of clients. The paper provides the characteristic of the development of relationships with clients as well as describes the possibilities of competition between multilateral platforms.
