Summary/Abstract: Jan Klata did not exploit all the potential in musical forms of theatre in his production of Jerry Springer – The Opera (Capitol Music Theatre in Wrocław, premiere: 24.03.2012). Klata focused solely on assessing the impact of television on our view of the world. Therefore, instead of a musical he directed a performance “as revealing as an outdated television talk show.”
