Summary/Abstract: The present text is an attempt to study the heterogeneous research strategies and perusals of Bulgarian philosophical heritage during the period 1989–2009. The utilized interpretative lattice has for an object to provoke a future discussion about the “construction of Bulgarian philosophical identity“ by means of how the Bulgarian philosophical community “imagines“, approbates and articulates/plays either through or despite its tradition different manners of self-identification and models of self-presentation.
