Prof. Dimitri Mihalchev’ Lecture Notes in Philosophy of History

Summary/Abstract: D. Mihalchev who was the most prominent Bulgarian philosopher throughout the 20th century delivered his lectures on Philosophy of History between 1927 and 1939. A single and physically damaged copy of these lecture notes was accidentally found in 2005 in Sofia. The copy is connected to prof. Angel Bankov – a student of Mihalchev who later become a recognized logician and historian of Philosophy. In the present issue are published parts from the Introduction and two sections dealing with Giambattista Vico’s and Hegel’s Philosophy of History.
