Summary/Abstract: Since old authors time verbal locution do me thanë is clearly distinctive from conjunctive locution do me thane which by all chances is formed later based on the first one. This is certified by the fact that conjunctive locution do me thane/ domethanë appears for the first time at Bogdan’s, but relatively often. One single time this locution appears here in this compound from domethanë, which is expected and conse-quence of normal path of locution development in Albanian. Verbal locution do me thane appears formed since at Buzuku and is used frequently by Budi and Bogdani. Concretely Buzuku has used it 22 times in the form do me thashunë, and 5 times in the form do me thanë. Do me thanë is found also 13 times at Budi and 95 times at Bogdani. Bogdani has also used for 7 times imperfect doj me thandoj me thane. From this data seems that verbal locution do me thane have had high frequency of use since the time of Buzuku, which complies with situation of present time Albanian language. Research on usage of this locution among other old toskan authors would bring relevant data on frequency of its usage in this dilect, about the pattern of formation and for the fact weather it was used earlier in toscan the same way it was used in gegh or there was introduced later under influence of gegh dialect.
