Summary/Abstract: The article made within the framework of scientific trend “intelligentsia studies” is devoted to the problem of defining the methodology of intelligentsia research in the present-day phase. The author shows the perspectives of interdisciplinary approaches to the intelligentsia research based on the experience of European humanity schools and trends of the 20th century — “new cultural history”, “intellectual history”, “case studies”, “oral history” etc.
