Regional diversification of the human capital in Poland in the years 1999–2010

Summary/Abstract: Human capital is in Poland a relatively new notion, and although it is nowwidely used, it also raises controversy. It is described mainly by qualitative elements,therefore its resource and potential are difficult to fully describe in space and time. Thisarticle is an attempt of such a description. There is an analysis of changes in measurablehuman capital characteristics made on the basis of available statistical data and comparisonof newly created provinces.
