Summary/Abstract: The Activity of the Historian Ioan Lupas within the Framework of the Orthodox Bishopric Meetings from Cluj between 1921-1945. Orthodox priest, professor, historian and diplomat, Ioan Lupas was a great Romanian personality, from the first six decades of the XX-th Century. Member of the Romanian and German Academy, and other cultural societies from Romania or abroad, through his works became one of the gratiest historian of Transylvanian History. He also created one solid Departament of History in the University of Cluj, recognised in the world till today. This work presents his important activity as a member of the Orthodox Bishopric Meetings from Cluj (1921-1945). From this activity he appears as a good Christian priest, interested in promoting the Orthodox spirituality in Romania and abroad.
