Summary/Abstract: The paper is a response on a review by Michal Rehúš of the book Výchova a vzdelávanie v základných diskurzoch authored by O. Kaščák and B. Pupala. Behind the dissonance between the consensual and liberal discourses as described in the book review, the author of this paper identified a new, emerging antinomy in education. The author poses a question of how to select relevant knowledge for the curriculum in a multicultural environment (i. e., environment in which it is impossible to specify the learner).
