Summary/Abstract: In today’s special pedagogy, the paradigm of thinking and effecting, called inclusive education, is becoming more and more popular. This article is devoted to this conception, it analyses its origin, essence and prospects. The author proves that inclusive education makes common teaching possible for both healthy and disabled children, in contrast to earlier conceptions based on theory of integration. Inclusive education is shown here (in the article) as a relatively coherent paradigm. The most important is its attitude towards children. It does not concentrate on one child’s needs any more, it shows how important it is to be in a group of people, working together, sharing problems and thoughts. That is why the author attaches importance to a class, meant as a group of pupils who should be taught together. The class teacher takes the responsibility for teaching all children, including the disabled ones. The author thinks inclusive education is the best reply to the problems of education of disabled people nowadays, even though it is not a perfect solution.
