Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to present, on the one hand, the measures taken by NATO during the Summit in Newport (4th-5th september 2014) for the Eastern Europe and, on the other hand, to analyze the role of Romania and also of the Black Sea region in the new security plan of the North Atlantic Alliance.
