The status of men and women in the context of labor – the view of girls and boys

Summary/Abstract: The author presents her research on attitudes of adolescent girls and boys to the labor of women and men (both housework and paid labor). She concludes that young girls challenge the gender stereotypes, while boys do not consider reflecting on gender norms to be of big relevance.
