Summary/Abstract: The subject of national relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina is of considerable importance and interest not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina itself, but also for the whole of the former Yugoslavia, of which Bosnia and Herzegovina was a full and equal member. However, it is a subject that merits greater attention. For many years, it was believed that the national issue had been resolved during the War of National Liberation and the revolution. It was a grave error to think that the problem was resolved, however, and the consequence was the dissolution of the former state. The highest price has been paid by the people (each and every nation and minority), while the group that suffered the greatest losses in Bosnia and Herzegovina was the most numerous, the Bosniacs.
