Attempts on her life: on the conceptualization of subject in feminist philosophy

Summary/Abstract: The author analyzes the shift from the unproblematized notion of the subject of women to the dissolution of its unity in feminist theories of 1990s inspired by recent postmodern thinking. She discusses the gains of the queer theory and examines the question, whether there is still a necessity to assume subject in feminist and queer politics.
