Summary/Abstract: Our study proposes to address the work of the Québec writer from a sociological perspective, focusing on the symbolism of car identity (be it a Volks or a Bookmobile) represented as a habitat providing the actors with a sense of identity and security. We try to demonstrate that through his minimalist writing Jacques Poulin implements the postmodern conception of space seen as a vector of the being as social.
