Summary/Abstract: A status report on the Czech Republic, the EU, and the world at large. E-mail, surfing the Internet, online shopping, online publications, e-consulting, e-government, e-filing, e-banking are but some of the activities that fall under the domain of Cyber, or virtual space. Considering the ever-increasing volume of migration of commerce and other activities from physical (brick and mortar) to Cyberspace, this is rapidly becoming one of the most controversial issues facing mankind. Along with practical issues, there are legal ones as well. This article provides a look at some of the legal issues that can be raised via the constantly expanding and changing questions associated with Internet and cyberspace use.
