From the Place of Memory to an Autobiographical Place. The City in Inga Iwasiów's Prose

Summary/Abstract: The article constitutes an attempt at outlining the motif of the city in the work of the Szczecin writer and literary critic Inga Iwasiów. Analysing Iwasiów's novels, the author refers, among others, to the concept of Pierre Nora's "realms of memory" and Małgorzata Czermińska's "autobiographical place", as well as the concept of the text as a palimpsest.
