Summary/Abstract: The Taste of Hope the Virtue of Hope between Memory and Repetition. This article draws attention upon a paradox of the second theological virtue: taste of hope. This „taste” furnishes us an anchor of our expectations in the present of what we live daily. Starting from S. Kierkegaard insight, the theological developpement of the article presents the „taste of hope” within a new triad, the one of the Memory, Hope and Repetition. A realistic hope needs to be completed by Memory and Repetition in order to achieve it’s own goal. The Eucharist offers the fundament for the Anamnesis, while the ignatian Spiritual Exercises provides model for a vital and fruitful repetition in the daily life.
